Here you can see a small family tree going back to my great grandfather. Since then, B"H my family has grown, adding two more generations and many, many more cousins. This was a gift from my grandmother and her siblings to my great-grandfather, for a birthday. I'm not sure which year this was created, but it is now in my grandparent's study in Jerusalem. It is made of beautiful wood and gold, in the shape of a tree that by now would have more capturing branches, expanding from all sides.
At the base of the tree, you can see my great-grandfathers name, Shavti Nissel. Coming up from it are his three kids and their spouses, Tamar and Yitzchak Yonah (my grandparents), Yehudit Shirah and Eliezer Mordechi, Chaim Menachem and Deava. From there are all of my aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles and my first cousins once removed.
This tree has grown significantly, and by G-D's will, will never stop growing.
