Warsaw is located within Poland, it stands on the River Vistula in east-central Poland and its population is estimated at 1.8 million residents. Along with that they had a growing Jewish populous:
By 1804 having roughly 11,630 Jews.
In 1901 a consensus said that of 711,988 people 35.7% were Jewish, roughly 254,179.
By 1939 Warsaw roughly had 370,000 Jews.
The towns "story"
There was many factors that may have lead people to Warsaw. This may include types of community and the jobs. The relations of Jews and non Jews was probably average, and most likely so were the jobs. The Jewish populations dates back at least 1000 years, and even with the destruction of the Ghettos in 1943 the Jewish population still exists in Poland today. Just like everywhere else, there were famous Jews including musicians, rabbis, politicians, and more.
