Braun family travel history.
|
The Braun family history can be dated back to Avraham Avinu, but we will be taking it back two generations. Starting with Ginnendal Freidman, a woman who migrated in the 1930’s from Hungary, and Kloinimus Estreicher, a man from Austria. Ginnendal and Kloinimus met each other in a displacement camp after World War II. They got married and moved to Israel shortly after meeting. In 1950 they had a child named Ester. When Esther was about 19 years old she married Issac Braun whose parents were Shulom Oizer and Gella Braun who were both from Romania. Ester and Issac Braun married in Israel and had a daughter named Bracha in 1976 ( 1 of 6 children ). When Bracha was 4 years old the Braun family moved to Brooklyn NY. There, she married a man named Israel Rosenberg. Israel and Bracha then got married in 1994. These are my parents.
